Big Wigs Awards are about paying homage to the talented professionals who make sure creative work is seen. Every fall they honor the talented, unsung heroes working tirelessly behind the scenes to make it possible to be creative in Austin.
The yearly awards event is put together by the American Advertising Federation's Austin, TX chapter. The event gathers a crowd of Austin advertising pros to celebrate the achievements of some of the finest team players. In 2021, as the awards were taking place at the Austin FC soccer stadium, we leaned into the sports team aspect and created a fictitious Austin AF "sports" team. The winners made up the All-Star team and the awards were a commemorative trading card deck celebrating their achievements.
